Media relations, public relations, stakeholder management, events, special projects
- Media Relations –To support the line manager in executing the company’s media relations efforts. Organise media events, pitch and evaluate interview opportunities and schedule speaking engagements. Distribute press releases to the media to garner coverage and meet targeted PR Value. Support in devising a plan to address unfavourable press coverage or misinformation. Build and maintain a strong and harmonious relationship with local key media in order to continuously improve and maximise PR coverage and brand awareness.
- Public Relations – Execute the company’s public relations efforts, media advertising strategies, corporate communications and external publicity through editorials, events, market and media research. Translate brand and key messages into compelling stories and thought-leadership pieces. Identify external opportunities and platforms to strategically deploy thought leadership. Devise a plan to address unfavourable press coverage or misinformation.
- Stakeholder Management- Review communication materials and translations, including but not limited to text speeches, high-level presentations and conference materials, and the CEO’s festive, corporate, and performance results messages. Coordinate top management involvement in events in terms of logistics and prepare a media briefing.
- Events – Coordinate top management involvement and events in terms of logistics, media briefing, managing media invites, etc.
- Special Projects – to represent Brand & Communication Starlite (co-brand), TOM, SAM, IMT, Pandemic GTM, Repricing, adhoc campaigns
- General Support – to support company-wide initiatives of takaful identity implementation, employee engagement events (ie. national townhalls, long service awards etc), agency events (agency kick-off, general agency events etc)
