The Assistant Brand Manager is a key role within our Brands and Buying team! This role works closely with the Brand Managers and the cross-functional stakeholders to support the team in management, commercial delivery and operational excellence of our brands.
The Role You Could Play:
This role ensures the timely and accurate support of all aspects of our brands and product set up, completes accurate ranging, supports marketing and assists the Brand Managers in ensuring we meet our commercial objectives. The Assistant Brand Manager plays a critical role in cross-functional support, acts as a brand ambassador and liaises regularly with internal departments including Planning, Range & Space, Retail, Marketing, Education, Freight and the DC. This role also works closely with external contacts across multiple brands representing MECCA as an ambassador.
- Timely management of item set up and product maintenance, liaising with brands on timely delivery and ensuring accuracy
- Develop store assortments with Brand Managers and Range & Space team, analyzing best sellers and space requirements / restrictions
- Support brand manager to ensure commercial targets and brand commitments are met
- Support the team with managing products, campaign information, education and supporting collateral
- Working with Brand Managers, developing product lists for monthly campaigns and VM hotspots
- Manage monthly brand claims, liaising with Finance and Brand Manager
- Coordinate itineraries for international visits, including brand founders, trainers, and account managers
What You Will Bring:
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Able to adapt to changing priorities
- Has a high attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office in particular Power Point and Excel
- Is proactive with a desire for continual improvement
- Proven ability to work cross functionally
