Job Description
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems, including general ledger journal entries for accounts payable and fixed asset.
- Performs period account reconciliations and analysis of the fixed asset and accounts payable accounts.
- Verify incoming bills/invoice from service providers with all required supporting documents
- Entry draft payable request to Accounting system
- Process payments on timely basis
- Prepare AP aging and list progress of payments
- Monitor and follow up pending matter related with Account Payable
- Analyze monthly expense and make monthly accrual
- Filing and scanning of accounting documentation
- Understands how to read a vendor invoice and AP terminology
- Handles confidential information as needed
- Maintains detailed work volume in a highly organized manner.
- Performs other special projects or tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- English speaking and writing
- Fresh graduate but having experience on similar position is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in Accounting journals and Financial Reporting
- Able to work independently and as a team player with fast paced environment
- Good logical and analytical thinking
- Detail, high integrity, good interpersonal skill, and enjoy working with numbers
- Proficient in MS Excel and web-based application are an advantage
