What You'll Do
- Work as a member of a group in an assembly line
- Work individually
- Properly wear PPE
- Properly fill out Daily, Weekly, and Monthly P.M.
- Report any nonconformity to line leads
- Follow simple cleaning chores
- Daily check calibration due dates
- Comprehend and follow production & test methods
- Pull parts as needed for assembly
- Comprehend and follow production routes, bills of material and prints.
- Operate hydraulic or manual presses and other simple machines in assembly process.
- Understand and follow employee handbook.
- Follow and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures.
- Understand and know where the Material Safety Data Sheets are located.
- Follow all safety rules & requirements.
- Fill out daily labor cards correctly and completely.
- Observe working hour schedules (starting time, quitting, rest & clean up periods)
- Able to cross trains as needed.
- Maintain all surrounding areas for cleanliness, orderliness and organization.
What you'll need
Knowledge of:
- Basic Computer Knowledge, able to work with small parts and tools.
Skills/Ability to:
- Able to work standing for a long period of time, able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds, perform repetitive work.
- Able to work with a team and cross train in different areas on the production line.
