Job Description:

Vespel® parts are served in a wide range of industries, including Transportation/Advanced Mobility, Aerospace, and Electronics globally, and is a historic DuPont business with a very strong Japanese presence.

 

We are currently looking for a Pricing Analyst, to manage customer pricing-related activities in support to sales, reporting to E&I Global Sales Operations Manager

The primary responsibility is to manage prices for Vespel® business in Asia Pacific region, by being the key support for prices in Salesforce Pricing system (business admin) and track metrics in support to sales to improve revenues. In addition to the regional pricing coordination, inside sales/administrative role is in the job scope to support local sales activities based in Japan by taking functional guidance from Vespel® Japan sales manager.

 

Job Responsibilities / Activities:

  • Regional Business Administrator for pricing tool (SFDC PA/SharePoint RFQ&PA/Power Apps) including Approval Flow governance, Trouble Shouting support, New User training and annual user reviews etc.

  • Work closely with the sales team and raise the pricing requests and relevant actions on behalf of the price owners to the correct standards and requirements

  • Managing, maintaining, tracking, and continuously improving usage of pricing tools(SFDC PA/SharePoint RFQ&PA/Power Apps).

  • Manage and Design the pricing processes, making sure all processes are followed with company internal controls and standards.

  • Control, maintain and organize standard price list to fit AP region following by global pricing standards.

  • Accurately maintain, identify and resolve pricing discrepancies between the systems.

  • Participate on Global projects / Work activities assigned by team leader

  • Coordinate internal sales activities in Japan with sales, CSR, SC and other relevant functions as an inside sales rep.

  • Lead administrative activities to support local commercial team in Japan

Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 2+ years of proven experience in SAP, SAP Pricing flows and Salesforce Pricing management is preferred.

  • Data analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft office tools / automations (like Excel Macros, VBA scripts, PowerApps).

  • Ability to understand workflows and processes and follow-ups with continuous improvement/KAIZEN mindset.

  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication skill (with business/account/product managers, CSR, SC etc.).

  • Ability to prioritize and support critical sales/pricing tasks, flexibly in line with business environmental change.

  • Fluent in English/Japanese written and spoken.

  • Ability to enjoy internal cross-functional collaboration in a positive/proactive way.
