POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic Art Director to join our Brand Creative Team and lead internal brand initiatives with creativity, vision, and leadership. This role will shape our brand’s creative positioning, establish visual consistency, and oversee impactful projects supporting retail events and corporate goals. Collaborating closely with Graphic Designers, Art Directors, and external creative agencies, they will provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with brand standards. Reporting to the Creative Brand Manager, this role requires adaptability, a deep understanding of creative processes, and the ability to elevate our brand’s visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine internal brand creative positioning and standards
  • Lead creative direction for major retail events and high-level company initiatives
  • Provide feedback and direction to external creative agencies to ensure project alignment and brand consistency
  • Collaborate with designers and art directors to execute across multiple formats and platforms
  • Art direct photoshoots and other visual media projects with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Stay relevant creatively & technologically by patterning and researching current design/industry trends
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and quick project turnarounds

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design
  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in coordinating interactive projects from initial stage to final execution

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Must be able to manage and work with various teams of artists
  • Ability to manage workflow, and at the same time direct the work of others, while maintaining flexibility for the needs of the business
  • Possess excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, as well as MS Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Great communication and presentation skills, both verbal & written
  • Demonstrates the ability to take projects from initial state to delivery of final product, all while maintaining the look and feel of the company
  • Extreme attention to detail

Travel Requirements: 25-30%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regularly performs computer work and sits
  • Occasionally walks and stands
  • Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
