Arlo Europe, part of Verisure, is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Commercial Strategy Analyst to help drive performance improvements and support strategic decision-making for the Arlo Europe business.

Strategic context and Value proposition
Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe. In 2019, we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo, a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlo’s European business, particularly the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe, including e-commerce and retail. Additionally, Verisure is entering into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.
Today, Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail channels.Instead, we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales, alliances and telesales.The acquisition of Arlo Europe now gives us a strong leadership position in these two emerging and important channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance.Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

The Commercial Strategy Analyst will support our growth by collaborating with a strong and visionary Management Team that is developing a robust business plan focused on performance enhancement and value creation.
Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support commercial decision-making through business modelling and analysis to enhance performance and deliver optimal outcomes for the business.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to provide insights that help drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and portfolio performance.
- Monitor commercial units’ performance and implement new processes to drive a higher performance where needed.
- Analyse key commercial metrics, including sales performance, margins, and cost structures, to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Lead and coordinate planning processes for commercial initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Develop a deep understanding of the commercial business model and its key drivers, delivering value-added analysis that improves strategic decision-making.
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support commercial strategies and initiatives.

Permanent hire will be based in Madrid, Spain (Hybrid).
Reports and organization structure
Direct reporting line into the Head of Performance Improvement for Arlo Europe, working in an international organization, very close to the Commercial director, Financial Director and rest of management team.
Candidate profile
Experiences and QualificationsCompetencies
- 3+ years of experience in the retail sector, with a focus on the commercial area and sales through distributors, online sales or Amazon,
- Previous experience with Trade/Retail industries would be helpful
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights that will result in the implementation of new processes, actions, etc.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modelling, and PowerPoint for presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Experience working with PowerBI to read and interpret reports (no need to create them).
- A proactive and motivated mindset with a strong focus on details and ambition to understand.
- Availability to travel across Europe (~25% of the time)
