Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions using the ArcGIS platform. The role involves working on a variety of projects that require mapping, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement GIS applications using the ArcGIS suite of tools, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS with other systems and technologies.
- Manage and analyze geospatial data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Develop custom scripts and tools to automate GIS processes.
- Provide technical support and training to users on GIS applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GIS technologies and trends. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with ArcGIS software, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Server.
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with database management systems, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards, such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with other GIS software and technologies (e.g., QGIS, PostGIS).
- Certifications such as Esri Technical Certification.
