Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- Law degree from a US or UK university – required
- Law degree from a Polish university
- Being admitted to the Advocate or Attorney-at-Law Bar as a trainee
- 3 to 5 years of arbitration experience, preferably in a large law firm – nice to have
- Very good command of Polish and English
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Think about possible outcomes and how to achieve those outcomes. This involves, in an arbitration context, discovery goals, facts necessary to support dispositive motions, and the overall goals of the client
- Identify legal resources and authorities, understand their application to a particular legal matter and how to use the information to the advantage of the client
- Draft clear, accurate, and persuasive communications and legally significant documents. This includes briefs for submission to a court or tribunal
- Contribute to the fact-finding process allowing to prepare for settlement or trial
- Prepare for and conduct oneself at hearings and trial, including exhibit preparation, persuasive speech
