Job Description
We are looking for a new support engineer to join our team in Poland. You will collaborate with our engineering department to develop new applications and improve upon existing ones that will serve our clients and business well.
Main responsibilities

Conducting measurement software trainings
-
Programming metrology products
-
Prepare and conduct customer demonstrations of products and services

Carrying out comparative tests using coordinate measurement technique
-
Installation and calibration of Renishaw measurement systems, including Coordinate Measuring Machines and universal production gauges

Diagnosing faults, selecting components for troubleshooting
-
Advice and support customers in using measuring machines, Renishaw hardware and software
-
Participation in marketing events (fairs, seminars, conferences)

Ensure good communication with customers
-
Perform customer visits when required

Sales team technical support
-
Keep abreast of technology trends and competition situation and solutions, maintain close relationships with the Product Divisions in Renishaw

Maintenance and upgrade of demonstration equipment
Requirements
-
Higher-technical degree in electrical, mechanical, automation, mechatronics engineering or another related field
-
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar position

Ability to correctly read technical drawings and documentation

Proven GD&T knowledge
-
Knowledge in programming coordinate measuring machines
-
Knowledge of DMIS programming language will be an additional advantage

Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics (machine construction, drive systems) will be an additional advantage

Communication skills, accuracy in diagnosing and solving technical problems

Ability to work independently under time pressure

Advanced knowledge of working with PC and MS Office

Fluent English (spoken and written)

Category B driving license with driving experience
-
Willingness to travel (40%-70% time)

Adaptable, sense of responsibility, flexible and open-minded and used to work in changing environments with the ability to maintain a good and a collaborative work environment are key for the role.
