As a sales & service subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar global company with 70+ locations, we are responsible for our Laser Technology Division in North America. The Applications and Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with customers to schedule application trials related to new equipment sales, scheduling field application support and customer training, responding to customer inquiries for trainings and aftersales topics, and provide support for our E-Learnings. Additional duties may involve providing administrative support to our Application and Technical Service teams.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers, sales team, and application engineers to schedule applications trials
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for employee training and onsite applications support. This may include but is not limited to clarifying training/support requirements, expectations, timelines, providing quotations, and verifying purchase orders.
- Schedule and coordinate trainings and onsite application support based on personnel and equipment availability, and customer’s schedules and expectations.
- Owning and maintaining the schedule of in-house and field application engineers, and field training personnel.
- Track all onsite support and trainings purchased either as part of a machine order or as part of aftersales.
- Track and organize all materials received to be used in application trials.
- Coordinate the shipment of materials to customers including but not limited to: application trial results, training materials.
- Organizing customer satisfaction survey results
- Maintain and organizing the shared application and training email inboxes
- Work with global teams to ensure LMS portfolio is up-to-date and effective
Travel
- Limited travel up to 10% travel as needed
- Occasional overnights as needed
Education & Experience
- Two-year Associates Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in office administration or customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- SAP experience preferred
- Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
