Job Description
Acts as liaison between technical and applications teams. Provides technical guidance to Applications Analysts and assists in project design in a policy and standards compliant way. Assists with projects where no clear business partnership or team ownership exists or where technical complexity is great. Provides innovative solutions to workflow and integration challenges. Provides technical teams with a voice to reach out to applications analyst teams. Assists in training, coaching, and mentoring of applications analyst teams.
Experience
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working understanding of core Children's Healthcare of Atlanta systems and roles they play, including data flow and basic architecture and integration strategies
- Broad-based familiarity and comfortable conversance with generally known databases, commercially available healthcare and business software packages, communications technologies, server technologies, storage technologies, networking basics, personal computer and server operating systems, and interfacing technology
- Ability to lead projects from inception to completion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Well-developed and proven organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and interact positively and productively with teams across organizational lines, including executive level
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as liaison between infrastructure, security, field services, and applications analysts team.
- Advocates for end users and business partners.
- Communicates with and educates business partner team with information regarding Infrastructure projects, polices, and initiatives with special emphasis on consistency throughout the enterprise.
- Provides technology consulting and customer support to operational owners and prepares them for business partnerships with Information Systems & Technology.
- Provides support services with very little management input, including high level applications software support, coordination of programming requests, system upgrade coordination, and vendor liaison.
- Assists technical teams with compliance enforcement.
- Partners with technical teams on large technical implementations with focus on end user engagement, communication, and workflow integration.
- Assists in orientation of new team members and serves as resource for new employees and other staff members.
