POSITION OVERVIEW:  Under the supervision of the Application Support Manager, the Application Specialist is part of a team responsible for the ongoing support of business applications, including Office 365, Box, Zoom, Adobe and OneDrive. The Application Engineer will become a technical resource on the supported applications and will learn and understand the key technical processes. The Application Analyst works closely with other IT staff and third-party vendors, as applicable. This role requires hands-on trouble ticket support and engineering of solutions to meet the complex requirements of a Healthcare environment.
POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned applications to include providing tier 1 and tier 2 application support for systems of responsibility: log and track issues to resolution; perform analysis of issues to either resolve or escalate; identify workarounds where necessary, communicate & coordinate with vendor support teams and internal IT staff
  • Configure, maintain, and support collaboration platforms such as Zoom, O365 and integrations, Teams, OneDrive, Adobe and Box. Additional experience with migrating data from Box to other collaboration platforms such as OneDrive a big plus
  • Support, configure and administer collaboration solutions to meet the institutions requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend new collaboration tools and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Assist in the evaluation of new technologies in the collaboration and productivity tool space
  • Manage Box user accounts, permissions, and access control to ensure security and data integrity
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize the platform
  • Provide technical support to end-users and develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for applications in the collaboration and productivity portfolio
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their collaboration needs and the best tool in our portfolio to recommend.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to audio, video, and screen sharing during Zoom meetings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of large-scale virtual events or webinars using Teams and Zoom
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or hands on experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in administering and managing collaboration tools and platforms
  • Strong technical skills in collaboration software such as Microsoft Teams, Box, OneDrive. Zoom, Box, Slack, Google Workspace, SharePoint, Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS. MAC a plus
  • Knowledge of IT security and compliance policies and procedures
  • Experience with Cloud based applications a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both in a team and on an individual basis without direct supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure in a timely fashion
