The Opportunity at Komodo Health:
The Application Management Support team provides high-level technical support and systems analysis to identify, prevent, and resolve service interruptions in the organizations networks and systems.
These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for …
- Maintains (MDM) systems, enables MDM policies on company issued devices
- Provide training and guidance to junior technical support staff
- Work closely with the security team on patch management, policy alignments and audits
- Serve as an SME for Windows, MacOS and hardware troubleshooting
- Provide support to help desk team on escalated issues
- Provides technical expertise, leadership, and project coordination services to support and maintain continuity of the organization's computer systems and networks.
- Support asset management workflows and reporting
- Researches, identifies, and recommends software and applications that will improve the stability of systems and networks
- Maintains knowledge on developments, trends, and best practices in technology and business networks
- Lead the change management activities within a structured process framework
- Design the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management
- Support training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training resources to the appropriate knowledge base
- Train and supervise the team; provide feedback as necessary including oversight of Knowledge Base and Training materials in parallel with program team trainers and QA
- Automate access to tooling using systems like Okta workflows and Tines
- Drive continuous process improvement and gain efficiencies via workflows and optimizations
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- 2-3 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Engineer or similar role
- Experience administering and managing MDM solutions for both Windows and macOS environments
- Experience administering at least one of the following tools; Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Intune, Slack, O365, Jira
- Experience in using Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools like Okta
- Proven ability to automate complex and repetitive tasks using python, bash, tines, GAM, etc.
- Experience in managing and optimizing Google Workspace environments, including user administration, security, and automation, to support organizational scalability and efficiency
- Experience in network management and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless connectivity and issue resolution
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical colleagues
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest technologies and IT best practices
Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…
- Certifications in JAMF, Intune or Okta
- Experience with Python and Bash is a plus

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.

Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
