Role:
The EPLAN Application Engineer will support the Professional Services organization as the technical “trusted advisor” to new and existing educational institutions along with our distribution partners. The EPLAN Application Engineer will provide their industry level experience with practical solutions that harness the benefits of the EPLAN platform.
Additionally, the Application Engineer will act as the link between Sales and other Professional Services team members. This link includes critical educational initiatives, the buildup of existing and new channel partners, and enabling customers through a variety of activities (consulting, coaching, and training).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support Sales teams to maximize our opportunities during pre-sale activities.
- Onboard new and existing customers to help enable users to utilize EPLAN in both theorical and practical learning.
- Development of training and enablement materials for the distribution networks.
- Develop new and existing customers through onsite coaching and consulting to highlight EPLAN products.
- Present at trade shows and local markets to help increase brand awareness of the potential EPLAN has to offer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 2+ years using CAE tools for electrical designs. EPLAN experience preferred.
- Inquisitive, honest, and solves difficult problems. Take the opportunity to connect/promote/sell ideas, products, and services that demonstrates your knowledge.
- Experience with system integration, manufacturing, and working with higher education institutions preferred.
- IT and application skills, including network solutions, Windows Server, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office solutions.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence at the various levels of the organization.
- Strong team worker with interfaces to regional sales and vertical market management.
Additional Information:
We will not sponsor applicants for work visas. Applicants must be authorized to work on an unrestricted basis. Hours: M-F. Must reside within the US and be willing to travel up to 50%.
