Every year we publish our Annual Report, aiming to be one of the first filers. Our ambitions regarding our annual report are high: to report our story in a nice and understandable way as well as ensuring we are compliant with both financial and sustainability reporting regulations. As the Sustainability Reporting regulations change and increase rapidly, there is a challenge to execute our Annual Reporting process in time.
To support this process, we ‘Expert Advisory - Annual & ESG reporting team’ are looking for an Senior Manager Annual Reporting. Do you have extensive experience in Annual Reporting for Corporates and managing cross sector improvement projects? Then we look forward to talking to you!
Role and responsibilities
As a Senior Manager ESG / Annual Reporting, you will responsible for the execution of the end to end annual report process to ensure that the project deliverables are completed within the defined scope and deadlines. 2024 is an exciting year in that it is the first year we need to be compliant with the CSRD, one of the new ESG reporting requirements, and is the chance to be involved in this and contribute towards our goal of having a compliant yet reader-friendly annual report. You will monitor and manage the annual report project to ensure that project deliverables are completed within the defined scope and deadlines. The ESG / Annual Reporting manager position requires a great deal of commitment and is the linchpin of the project. Therefore, you need to combine annual reporting knowledge and project management experience. Your main responsibilities include:

Developing a committed project management plan including overseeing the high level and detailed planning for the annual report process and ensuing requirements and deliverables are within compliance constraints

Ensuring all project meetings, workshops & events are organized and well prepared

Monitoring the execution of the project plan to ensure that each step is realized as per the detailed planning, delivered on time and analyzing deliverables against requirements

Actively involved with content gathering for the annual report and ensuring overall compliance with ESG reporting requirements

Evaluating lessons learned and deploying agreed process improvements

Supporting the Expert Advisory - ESG reporting experts to prepare and manage questionnaires for global ESG indices, benchmarks and ratings.

Supporting in other ESG Reporting initiatives and projects
Education and experience
Education
-
Master degree with completed RA (or equivalent)

Finance and Annual reporting background
-
Fluency in English
Experience
-
10+ years’ experience

Annual reporting experience is a must
-
A strong project management background for projects in the finance domain is preferred

Experience with stakeholder management and organizing projects with many stakeholders and views

Ability to manage projects simultaneously and collaborate across functions

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Comfortable with handling the funnel from relatively vague requirements to well-defined project with committed partners

Able to set up and work according to deadline-oriented processes
Skills
You are informal, a team player, pro-active, critical and innovative with strong communication skills and hands-on attitude. Not having a 9 – 5 mentality and willing to go the extra mile when needed. Able to work in a challenging and complex environment, flexible and easily adapts to the situation.

You will be part of the Expert Advisory team and it is our mission to be a trusted advisor that ensures compliant external reporting, supports quality decision-making, drives risk mitigation and thinks in solutions. At ASML we constantly have to ensure that our ambitious business objectives are met in compliance with laws and regulations. As an Annual and ESG reporting project manager you will work with senior stakeholders inside and outside the Finance department.
