The Role
XP Health uses augmented reality and delightful, seamless user experiences with technology to revolutionize the $1.2T health care benefits industry. Employees at our corporate clients find this hyper-convenient and delightful!

You'll be among the first mobile engineers to join the team and work with the founders to define future product directions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transform visiting the eye doctor into an enjoyable and delightful experience for a BILLION people
- Design, implement, and test brand new user-facing product features having top-line business and performance impact
- Tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences while ensuring user data is being handled securely and with care
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers
- Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android
- Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms
- Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques
- Experience shipping one or more Android apps (Kotlin), ideally currently available in the Google Play Store
REQUIRMENTS
- BS/MS in CS, related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience
- 2+ years experience building Android applications in Kotlin using Android SDK
- Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
- Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management

CA Pay Range
$120,000—$180,000 USD
