Help develop our LEGO product portfolio with design insights to improve business performance, assess future portfolios, innovation levels, and Product Lifecycle planning for enhanced capacity and capability in LEGO Design!

Core Responsibilities  

Play a key role in LEGO Design by analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing strategic data-driven recommendations for design and innovation initiatives. You will get to: 

  • Work with designers, researchers, and relevant stakeholders to collect, document, and analyze business and design needs. 

  • Conduct data analysis, develop dashboards, and generate insights to support design decision-making. 

  • Define, implement, and optimize data-driven design processes to enhance creativity, efficiency, and collaboration. 

  • Work closely with the Digital organization and Design teams to ensure technical solutions align with creative and business needs. 

  • Create detailed documentation, including data models, functional specifications, user journeys, and design process flows. 

  • Project lead efforts to provide data insights for optimizing timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables. 

  • Act as a liaison between business, design, and data analytics teams to ensure alignment on priorities.

Joining the department, you will be driving integrity in our portfolio design, planning and optimization to enable LEGO Design to be a better strategic partner to the broader Product & Market Development organization. 

 

Do you have what it takes?  

We envision that you bring a degree within Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Economics or related quantitative field. Moreover, you might bring a handful of years’ experience in business analysis, data analytics, or process improvement, potentially from a design-focused organization. Moreover, we are looking for: 

  • Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) and data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R). 

  • Ability to analyze sophisticated business and design problems using data-driven methodologies and develop strategic solutions. 

  • Experience with Agile and design-thinking methodologies. 

  • Outstanding data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication, experienced in communicating and presenting data in an understandable way. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Solid project management and organizational skills. 

  • Insights to industry trends, data analytics methodologies, and standard processes in BI for creative organizations.
