What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

  • Formulates and defines analytics solution objectives and technical requirements based on user needs, an understanding of business processes, industry requirements, and advanced analytic models (statistical, operations research, computing, process).
  • Conceptualizes, builds, develops and enhances a client's analytic model. Selects the relevant analytic modeling methodology for the use case, available structured and unstructured data, cost and timing constraints to solve the business issue and deliver clear business focused insights.
  • Embeds analytic models in an enhanced business process of operational system by collaborating with Application Developers. Responsible for measuring business performance based on the model.
  • As a fully functioning analytics team member, applies best practices to analytics solutions and contributes to the development of improved best practices. Leads the model enhancements.
  • Summarizes complex ideas by developing visual models to display insights to simplify user experience.
  • Communicate the analytics solution to the appropriate stakeholders.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically, 6-10 years of work experience in BI, with a focus on operations, finance, planning, or related functional areas.
  • Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business issues.
  • Strong data integration, mathematical modeling, and ETL skills
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques and software tools (eg. Power BI, Qlikview,).
  • Knowledge of AI ML tools and techniques are good to have
  • Knowledge of the HPE Products and Services Portfolio is crucial.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data is good to have
  • Ability to translate business requirements into mathematical models to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Should have good presentation skills and executive presence.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within the area of responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness in working across geographical boundaries.
  • Project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Developed leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and management.
