OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Internal control responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the Company’s internal control framework for various key financial accounting and reporting processes based on the COSO framework to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Support the administration of the quarterly and year end 302 certification process and maintenance of the SOX program tool.
-
Assist process owners to assess and identify controls needed for new processes and opportunities for operating efficiencies, including the organization’s digital transformation efforts.

Provide subject matter expertise to business partners related to financial risk, controls and issues management.

Review annual SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports to identify issues with 3rd Party Service Providers.

Assist management with special projects and process improvement as needed.
ESG responsibilities:
-
Support the Company’s implementation of new regulations related to climate disclosures.
-
Assist in the identification of emerging risks related to climate disclosures and in the design and implementation of processes and controls to support climate related disclosures.

Collaborate with process owners to understand the end-to-end processes and develop/maintain formal narratives and flowcharts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
-
3-5 years experience in public accounting experience preferred, prior COSO / SOX experience preferred
-
CPA preferred
-
Workiva experience a plus
-
Understanding of processes and internal controls, and the ability to leverage such knowledge to make effective recommendations
-
SEC registrant experience is a plus
