Team / division overview
The role supports the Asset Management business and is particularly responsible in the preparation of the DWS Balanced Scorecards (BSC).
Communication with various stakeholders is a key element in effectively performing the role. Stakeholders/interactions include but not limited to the following: Global Head of FP&A, Head of FP&A Business Performance Management & Planning, Head of FP&A Corporate Reporting & Strategic Analytics and Other Senior FP&A Managers.
Your responsibilities –
As our FP&A Senior Analyst – PPM, you will:
- Management of the monthly non-MECC flash review, Flash vs Actuals Commentary, Flash submissions for CAT3 Items and NCI, and other related Flash topics
- Provide support for the MECC review process for the Product Division, analyze and identify the drivers of significant month-on-month movements. The candidate will also support the maintenance and production of the Flash/Forecast Monitoring Report for the Product Division.
- Provide support on the accrual of Product legal fees, and other accruals as required by business
- Provide support for the Forecast and Annual Planning process for the Executive Division, Product Division and Client Coverage Division.
- Provide support for the Actuals P/L clear-out process, including release of GGLCar section
- Provide support for the Quarterly Non-comp cost commentary submission to DB Group
- Provide support for the production of the Product Cost Transparency report
- Provide support for Expense Line Owner (ELO) Reporting, including ad hoc requests related on underlying data
- Manage ad-hoc queries and report requirements of Finance Director/Managers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supports other tasks related to restatements, as assigned by Manager
- Maintain operational guidelines, keep them updated and ensures adherence to standards, KPIs, objectives and other metrics requirements & procedures as well as identifying and developing plans to mitigate risks whenever there is any control issue.
- Work independently, self-motivated and keeping management up to date as well as escalating issues timely.
We are looking for a candidate with proven years of experience in management reporting and analysis of financial data. It is highly preferred that a candidate:
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills through careful and systematic evaluation of information. Identifying linkages and trends from individual events and data points; seeing the context and providing solutions that address the issue and the big picture
- Has Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Can clearly and effectively communicate with others
- Has the ability to escalate adequately

Education/Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or any equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong focus on internal controls and integrity of data
- Preferably with solid experience in end to end Finance functions.
- PC/ workstation skills. Knowledgeable with Microsoft office – Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical skills
