What Global Trade International Logistics & Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Global Trade International Logistics & Operations is responsible for managing Global Trade execution focused on compliance, delivery excellence and cost optimization. This job family implements and executes Global Trade policies and serves as primary interface to internal business operations, as well as forwarders, carriers, shippers and customs house brokers.
Responsibilities
- Manage updates to Export Shipments based on input from external sources
- CAH Regional Center outbound departments - 5 Sites
- Supplier Outbound Shipments- 16 Suppliers
- Manage data updates in ATL Calendar based on Booking numbers and cut off dates.
- Host Daily meetings with ATL International outbound team and DHL first mile
- Coordinate weekly Greenwood Shipments with Deployment Team- submit to DHL First Mile Team
- Upload Trucker Milestones based on automated daily report.
- Resolve daily issues with oceans carriers and related carriers (CNTs or Carrier’s truckers)
- Approve pre-pull for FDA or any other related holds.
- Monitor containers through the import process in collaboration with DHL (locations pre-assigned)
- Send adjusted CMR report to DHL team.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
