We’re seeking an AI Architect who excels in building and deploying comprehensive AI solutions. In this role, you will combine full stack development, cloud-native architectures, advanced Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI and robust data management and engineering skills to create production-ready systems. You will also play a key role in evaluating model performance and guiding best practices for transitioning prototypes into scalable solutions, while engaging with the developer community at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development & API Integration

• Develop and implement end-to-end architectures that integrate Generative AI models and Agentic AI systems with modern full stack applications.

• Design secure and scalable RESTful/GraphQL APIs to enable seamless interactions between AI services and user interfaces.

• Work closely with UI/UX designers and front-end developers (using frameworks such as React or Angular) to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.

Cloud, Data, and DevOps Integration

• Architect and deploy solutions on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

• Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines for efficient ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets and ensure data quality and governance.

• Implement DevOps best practices (using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines) to streamline the deployment and continuous delivery of AI models.

Generative AI, LLMs & Agentic AI

• Gen AI Solutions: Lead the design, training, fine-tuning, and deployment of Generative AI models (e.g., using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Langgraph, Langfuse) to deliver innovative business solutions.

• Model Integration: Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and AI agents that enhance user interactions and automate complex workflows.

• Evaluation & Monitoring: Establish comprehensive evaluation frameworks—including performance benchmarking, A/B testing, and continuous monitoring—to optimize and ensure the reliability, accuracy, and fairness of AI models.

• Monitoring & Optimization: Implement MLOps and LLMOps best practices—including CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability tools—to ensure AI models perform reliably in production.

Developer Community & Strategic Collaboration

• Represent our AI initiatives at a high level through presentations, technical documentation, and participation in developer events.

• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and cloud engineers to align AI strategies with business objectives.

• Champion the adoption of coding standards, efficient workflows, and ethical AI practices across teams.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in Gen AI and full stack development, and share insights internally to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure that all solutions adhere to data security, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and ethical AI practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years in software development with a strong focus on full stack engineering and at least 3+ years in cloud-based AI solutions.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern development frameworks.

  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Proven ability to develop, deploy, and productionise LLMs and Agentic AI systems including hands-on experience with RAG pipelines.

  • Strong API development skills (RESTful/GraphQL) and full stack application architecture.

• Data Skills: Demonstrable experience in developing data pipelines, managing large datasets, and integrating SQL/NoSQL databases with a focus on data quality and governance.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer and AI/ML credentials would be greatly valued.

• Advanced Technologies: Experience with emerging Gen AI trends, prompt engineering, and AI agent development.

• Industry Exposure: Prior experience in industries such as finance, manufacturing, or telecom is a plus.

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile practices and DevOps toolchains to foster continuous integration and delivery.
