Join Protegrity as an Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master!

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for driving change and fostering agile transformation? Protegrity has an immediate opening for an Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master, reporting directly to the Global Head of Program Management team of R&D. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual who can act as a catalyst in our agile journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings to ensure team alignment and progress.
  • Process Consultation and Improvement:Assist in designing and improving SDLC/UI/UX processes based on standard agile principles. Guide and mentor teams on industry best practices in Agile/Scrum to ensure smooth release delivery cycles.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that impede team progress.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with various stakeholders, including Development Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams, to define realistic priorities and roadmaps.
  • Project Planning and Delivery: Manage and complete end-to-end project cycles (Design-Code-Test-Bug Fixing-Demo-Launch) and oversee large-scale service/product teams. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of UI/UX projects from conception to delivery.
  • Escalation Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports at varying cadences (Daily/Weekly/Fortnightly) to team members, management, and senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies.
  • Tools Administration: Hands-on experience with Jira administration and managing backlogs, Salesforce, and related systems to ensure all requests are added, prioritized, and addressed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and encourage continuous improvement through feedback loops and learning opportunities.

What we're looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of total experience with a minimum of 3 years as a certified Scrum Master.
  • Certifications: PMP, ACP certifications are a plus.
  • DevOps Practices Understanding:Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and DevOps principles.
  • UI/UX Knowledge: Good grasp of UI/UX principles and design thinking.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in delivering successful UI/UX & product development projects.
  • Team Handling: Experience in managing teams of 10-15 members effectively.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong background in managing enterprise-level platforms.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
  • Agile Methodologies: Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to drive continuous improvement processes within the team and across the organization. Experience working in a regulated industry with stringent compliance requirements.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigating them effectively.
  • Resource Management: Effective planning and utilization of resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Reporting: Proficiency in preparing comprehensive status reports, dashboards, quality graphs, budget plans, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and metrics for stakeholders at various levels (team, management, senior leadership).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong capability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Conflict Resolution: Excellent skills in resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Mentoring: Ability to guide and mentor team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to interact with various stakeholders, including Development Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Clear Articulation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align project goals with the company's business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.

Working Model:

  • This role is available as hybrid role where you will be required to commute to the office in Stamford, CT 2-3 days a week and work from home the other days. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
