Agency Enablement Specialist

The opportunity
In this exciting role as the Agency Enablement Specialist, you will support the Agency team with operationalisation of the Delegated Underwriting Authority Governing Standards (DUAGOS). You will assist in the strengthening of operational objectives for Delegated Underwriting Authorities (DUAs). You will have the opportunity to work with the Partnership Managers & Agreement Owners within the business, assisting our internal stakeholders be compliant with relevant standards and regulatory obligations. You will gain wide exposure across Agency operations, governance, risk and compliance.
Your new role
In your new role, you will:
- Support the governance of the Delegated Underwriting Authority Governing Standards (DUAGOS)
- Governance over Agency documentation
- Monitoring adherence of governance processes
- Supporting maintenance of Enablement Library
- Completion of Annual Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Appraisals and monthly status reporting for the DUA Governance Forums
- Manage stakeholder expectations ensuring clarity & transparency
- Ensure company processes, procedures and change methodology are followed
- Admin support to the Agency team on Insight management
- Admin support to Agency Enablement Lead with onboarding new DUAs
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of the General Insurance industry and the intermediated market conditions highly advantageous
- Experience in governance/compliance role
- Highly organised, great attention to detail and structured skillset
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong focus on being diligent and detail-oriented and have excellent time management to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work on own initiative and be proactive
- Experience in data visualisation and analysis
- Experience in creating and maintaining process documents
- Detailed understanding of risk management & Intermediate knowledge of statutory/regulatory regime is preferred
- Demonstrated influential interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Access, PowerBI) preferred
