Job Description:

Mission:

To support and enhance our business planning and export business development processes, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Business Planning:

  • Coordinate the yearly Business Plan (BP) and regular Rolling Forecast (RF) processes.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to identify BP and RF risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain and improve tools related to these processes.
  • Lead the Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM) organization and content consolidation for FMI & VME approval, ensuring alignment with BP and RF.
  • Support Regional Business Units (RBU) in preparations with Market Performance Managers (MPMs).
  • Provide mid-monthly and end-month business forecasts, along with regular end-of-year performance outlooks for export.
  • Lead the 'European Performance' daily reporting activity on month landing.
  • Apply a kaizen approach for constant process improvement (systems, information, communication flow).
  • Serve as a backup for other functions within the department.

Export Business Development:

  • Manage monthly scorecards of export buyers.
  • Organize business reviews with buyers, agree on next steps, and follow up on actions and results.
  • Prepare monthly export performance reviews with management.
  • Support monthly reforecast activities with the latest official targets and references.
  • Coordinate BP and Official Outlook processes and timings with the AMIEO AS controlling team.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to ensure maximum awareness of export activities.
  • Handle monthly closing for export.
  • Analyze business trends versus market trends, identify business opportunities, and initiate actions to increase sales.
  • Support inquiries and benchmarking requests from AMIEO towards export markets.
  • Exchange best practices with MPM roles across AMIEO regions.
  • Coordinate buyer creation and maintenance in global systems.

Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Automotive knowledge is an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communicator at all levels of the company.
  • Proactive, creative, and enterprising.
