Job Description:

IT Security Compliance – Third Party Security Risk Assessor

The IT Security Compliance Third Party Security Risk Assessor role will involve organizing a large volume of requests, completing requests based on standard operating procedures, reporting on status and maintaining effective communication with external and internal stakeholders.

Third Party Security Risk Asessor includes the following activities:

• Maintain, prioritize, and report on Third Party Cybersecurity Risk Assessments.

• Responsible for evaluating the security posture of third-party providers by conducting comprehensive assessments to identify potential risks to Pitney Bowes’ data and systems.

• Ensuring compliance with security standards and recommending mitigation strategies to manage risks effectively.

• This position may also be involved in managing and completing vendor/client questionnaires as well as a secondary contact to customer/client contract reviews.

• This position may also be involved in other business process or IS assurance related engagements including SOC reviews.   

• This position will work closely with Procurement, Business Owners, Product Owners and external third-party contacts.

Your background:

• 5+ years’ experience in evaluating security controls, assessing risk levels, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of information security concepts such as application security, data protection, access controls and incident response.   

• Familiarity with relevant security regulations and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS.

• Nice to have includes knowledge of SOC Audits, Payment Card Industry (PCI) and SOX reviews.
