About The Company
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy NV is a fast-growing international company and a major player

Energy. Our activities include onshore and offshore installation, start-up and maintenance of wind
turbines.
To enhance the team in Ostend, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy NV is currently looking for an
Advanced Operations Coordinator at offshore windfarms Rentel, Seastar and Mermaid.
About The Role
In this role, you will plan, coordinate and support field personnel in conducting the safe servicing and
maintenance of the offshore wind turbines. This will be done in line with planned maintenance
requirements, including providing parts and consumables for our offshore wind farms.
You will be based on our Service Operating Vessel (SOV) in the field and work in a 2-week rotation (10-11 hours per day).
Your key tasks will include:
• Meticulous administration of Siemens Gamesa wind farm sites including technical and
commercial record-keeping and clear separation of costs between service and warranty
activities in line with contractual requirements
• Schedule and allocate planned and unplanned maintenance activities in conjunction with
Siemens Gamesa field staff and customer personnel via our dedicated SAP system
• Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities and create daily and weekly
plans for the site team as required, optimizing the deployment of logistical assets (CTV’s/SOV)
• Control and technical verification within the SAP system; collection of time data and parts
consumption to allow billing and parts replenishment to be initiated
• Monitor weather and co-ordination of vessels/Helicopter. Planning for work load including port
operations, including control of documentation relevant to planning and the customer permit to
work system
• Ensure maintenance and troubleshooting activities are aligned to business objectives and
customer requirements
• Coordinate the preparation/provision of HSE related documentation and ensure all work is
carried out in line with Belgian legislation
• Co-ordinate record keeping, reporting and documentation archives to support full service and
maintenance history
• Ensure accurate reporting into and utilization of MORS database and other electronic
workflows
When working from the SOV additional stores duties will be expected, including:
• Goods Movement: order, receive, pick, pack, issue and dispatch inventory whilst maintaining
fully auditable records on SAP system and paper accurately. Ensure that the good movement fits
to logistic concept and custom requirements.
• Conduct weekly/annual cycle checks and report accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment. Ensure all procedures are followed and
communicated to provide accurate stock.
About You
• Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for your own workload
• Excellent organization skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
• Work in a offshore working schedule being 7 or 14 days onshift followed by 7 or 14 days offshift at the
project location, including weekends
• Knowledge about health and safety legislation
• IT literacy, particularly MS Office Applications and SAP
• Ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders in a confident manner.
• Previous experience of working in the wind industry would be advantageous although full training will
be provided
