The HR Lead Admin will under supervision of the Human Resource leadership team, performs a wide variety of administrative support assignments in the areas of employee relations, personnel records management, compensation administration, wellness and volunteer programs, recruiting and staffing, employment activities and special projects.
Flexible Work Policy: The Administrator Lead position has been segmented as Hybrid, meaning the work is a combination of onsite (3 days per week-Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and virtual (2 days per week- Monday & Friday). This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and processes documentation associated with personnel moves such as promotions, terminations, employee data information changes and equity increases.
- Create appropriate approval request forms for special payments and reimbursements.
- Responsible for processing all leave management.
- Track/ prepare queries, reports and Human Resources metrics.
- Maintain employee personnel records according to US Foods records retention guidelines.
- Provide general administrative support to Corporate HR Business Partner team, as needed.
- Coordinate a variety of employee programs to include scheduling, communication and execution.
- Provide administrative support for local recruiting activities required for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Maintain employee communication boards to include Federal and State employment laws and Company communications.
- Coordinate planning and logistics for new hire orientations and other on-boarding related events.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned on an as needed basis.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business administration and HR certification preferred.
Related Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated Human Resources experience required. Must be familiar with standard HR concepts, practices, procedures, and federal and state employment laws.

HRIS systems knowledge

This role will also receive overtime compensation.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$24 - $33
