Job Summary:
The Accounts Associate is responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the accounting team in ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests.
- Reconcile accounts payable balances.
- Bookkeeping:
- Record financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Provide support for audits and tax filings.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and reports.
- Support book closure activities on monthly basis.
- Support Functions:
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Statutory compliance:
- TDS, GST, PF, ESI etc workings and return preparation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- B. com or MBA in Finance
- Minimum 4 yrs of experience in Accounts Payable
