What We Need: 

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller. This Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role will be responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financial statements, and implementing accounting policies and procedures. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. 
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. 
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. 
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits. 
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. 
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. 
  • Meet financial accounting objectives. 
  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents. 
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial requirements. 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems. 
  • Experience in financial reporting, month-end close procedures, bank reconciliation, and state & federal filings.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills. 
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving. 
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Experience with ERP systems. 
  • CPA certification. 
  • Strong leadership skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Experience in healthcare accounting.
