Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Statistical Office reporting and National Bank reporting

• Preparing VAT and other declarations, cooperation with tax authorities

• Entering fixed assets and posting depreciation as well as other documents and transactions in the SAP system

• Entering and control over vendor and customer master data in the system

• Posting the import of goods and intra-community acquisitions (WNT), handling customs and tax receivables

• Posting bank statements and other documents and transactions in the SAP system

• Verifying the correctness of documents (both purchase and sales; accounting documents; contracts; etc.) in terms of accounting and tax aspects

• Participating in the preparation of periodic and annual company reports, cooperating with the audit

Additional Responsibilities

• Conducting internal projects aimed at optimizing and digitizing financial processes

• Ensuring proper circulation of financial documents within the company

• Confirming and reconciling balances with contractors

• Collecting, sorting, organizing, and archiving accounting documents

• Performing other official duties related to the tasks and purpose of the position

• Keeping up to date with changes in tax regulations related to assigned tasks

Organization

• Directly Reports to: Accounting Manager Country

• Functionally reports to: same 

• Number of Direct reports: Depends on team structure 

Interactions (internal & external)

• Management & Controlling department of FHCS Country 

• FHCS Corporate Functions

• Auditors & Local tax authorities 

• Suppliers and Debtors 

• Banks 

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

• Accounting Certificate  

• Fluent English written and spoken to lead correspondence with FHCS group wide stakeholders 

• Over 3 years of experience working in accounting area (senior accountant position or equivalent) 

Specific knowledge

• Very good Local GAAP accounting knowledge 

• FI module of SAP

• Fluent knowledge of Polish tax regulations
