We’re entering an exciting phase of global expansion and rapid scaling, and we're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to help drive our daily accounting operations and reporting.
Role Overview:
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and scaling the financial operations of the company. You will manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and audit coordination, while ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting across multiple international entities. This is a hands-on management role requiring accounting operations experience, technical accounting knowledge, experience building and managing teams, and a track record of system implementations and process improvements in fast-paced, high-growth and multi-entity environments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger as well as international accounting
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS Prepare and/or review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness and post and/or review Journal Entries
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulationsSupport external audit process by preparing and/or reviewing schedules and supporting documentation
- Drive and/or actively participate in system implementation and process improvement projects
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, not required)
- 3+ years minimum experience as a Financial Reporting or Accounting Manager
- Proven experience in leading and managing an accounting team
- Big 4 public accounting firm experience a strong plus but not requiredIn-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven experience developing and implementing processes, systems and proceduresStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, NetSuite is a strong plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
