Overview:
The Accountant will be part of the Finance team in Sofia and respectively – part of the accounting team, responsible for the DACH entities. He or she will be overseeing various accounting processes (payroll, accruals, provisions, tax, FA, intercompany loans, and cash movements, etc.) and ensuring the accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the correctness of the G/L entries in compliance with the Mitel Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP requirements;

Prepare and validate accounting and reporting data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing;

Identify and resolve General Ledger problems within their specific area of assignment including balance sheet reconciliations;

Upload payments in the online banking tool where relevant and account for the cash movements;
-
Act as a first line expert within their respective area of Intercompany financial responsibility – issuance of invoices, maintenance of IC agreements, intercompany reporting, and all sub-processes.;

Provide accounting records/extracts/supporting data at request by external auditors or internal stakeholders;

Work tightly with the Accounting Team Leader in any areas of support
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent Economics education
-
2+ years of relevant operational accounting experience

SAP, MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
-
Strong SAP FI/CO experience
-
Fluent English Language Skills Written/Verbal required
-
German language skills (B1+) will be considered advantage

Strong Analytical Skills

Excellent Communication Skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
