  • Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax, Income Tax, Excise Tax, and other statutory taxes.
    • Ensure timely compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and submission deadlines.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and advise the company on updates and compliance adjustments.
  • Tax Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports for management and statutory filings.
    • Assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial reporting purposes (for audit purposes).
    • Maintain tax-related records and documentation in compliance with the law.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy:
    • Advise the management team on tax-saving strategies and opportunities.
    • Analyze and evaluate the tax impact of new business decisions, investments, and activities.
    • Assist in tax planning for business operations to optimize the tax position of the company.
  • Audit Support:
    • Liaise with tax authorities during tax audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and supporting the defense of the company’s tax positions.
    • Assist in preparing responses to tax notices or queries from the BIR.
  • Reconciliations and Payments:
    • Ensure accurate tax-related reconciliation of accounts.
    • Prepare and process tax payments, ensuring they are done on time to avoid penalties or interest charges.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments (finance, legal, HR, etc.) to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions.
    • Provide tax advice and guidance to internal teams on tax matters
