SRS Management Luxembourg (SRS), a leading independent captive insurance management firm, is looking for an experienced insurance accounting professional to join its European servicing team. The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in the captive insurance industry to manage the financial and regulatory affairs of a portfolio of captive insurance companies and risk retention groups. The position does require fluency in French/English language. Prior experience and knowledge of local Luxembourg regulatory filing system and process highly desirable.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Preparing financial statements

· Maintaining accounting records and work papers

· Preparation of local regulatory filings, including Solvency II statements

· Managing client communications

· Co-ordination of the audit of client companies

· Preparing for and attending Board of Director meetings

· Liaising with the Luxembourg insurance regulator (CAA)

Attributes and Skills:

· Fully Qualified Accountant

· Ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ financial accounting experience

· Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge and practical experience of insurance accounting

· Self-motivation with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where superb time management and prioritisation skills are essential

· Excellent organisational skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Accounting Degree or equivalent
