Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Drive new sales growth by identifying and developing opportunities with current and potential customers in line with our channel strategy.
- Account Management: Maintain and expand existing business by servicing our current customer base, ensuring satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Communicate customer needs, risks, and opportunities. Manage circumstances affecting customer satisfaction, industry news, and competitor activity; recommend and manage improvement actions.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product marketing to create customer initiatives, promotions, and support for industry seminars, training, and trade shows.
- Forecasting & Planning: Develop demand forecasts and execute account plans to meet sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
- Industry Experience: 2+ years' experience in business development or account management required. Previous experience in the automotive aftermarket, OE, Tier 1, or Tier 2 industries preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Technical knowledge of engine, automatic transmission, and/or electronic power steering systems preferred.
- Key Attributes: Strong relationship-building skills, project management, change management, and a proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency and curiosity.
