Position Summary:

The primary responsibility is to ensure the overall satisfaction of assigned customers while assisting with and planning trips for general clientele. Under general direction, this role focuses on maximizing international trip support services and enhancing customer relations with both new and existing clients. The position requires providing superior customer service and effectively communicating all World Fuel Trip Support products and services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned base of top operations accounts.
  • Provide an unsurpassed level of service to all clients.
  • Communicate specific client requirements to all operational staff.
  • Establish and maintain a close rapport with the client base.
  • Ensure quality assurance for all client trips.
  • Travel to meet with clients upon request from management or the client.
  • Prepare and lead presentations for clients on demand.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support for the client base when required.
  • Ensure after-hours staff are aware of all urgent requirements for assigned client trips during off hours.
  • Maintain a firm knowledge of WFS Trip Support products and services and effectively market them to customers.
  • Provide expert-level support and consultation to customers and operations staff.
  • Market, communicate, and sell all WFS Trip Support products and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Direct the work of operational support staff after hours and on weekends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist other employees in accomplishing company goals.
  • Working hours as determined by the Sr. Director of Global Operations.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Operations positions, Flight Planning, and Meteorology.
  • Ability to serve as the Senior Coordinator for a specific region, establish client relationships, and understand Operations product offerings.
  • Confidence, assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy in handling various situations.
  • Strong skills in resolving sensitive issues, including methods and techniques for persuasion and negotiation.
  • Professional demeanor in stressful situations and negotiations.
  • Effective collaboration with other departments and interaction with employees at all organizational levels.

Job Requirements:

Level 1:

  • Education:                          Bachelor's degree, highly preferred.
  • Experience:                         3–5 years preferred in the aviation industry (must have either the educational requirements or equivalent work experience).
  • Customer Service:            Strong knowledge and understanding of customer service skills.
  • Work Quality:                   High degree of attention to detail is required.
  • Industry Knowledge:      Familiarity with customers, vendors, competitors, and primary products & services offered.

Travel Requirements:

Moderate – Occasional travel, which may be planned or on short notice. This is a requirement of the job but not a significant component. Includes international travel as necessary.
