8x8 is looking for an Account Executive (AE) that has a successful track record in the field selling Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions. You will be placed at the forefront of our evolution and tasked with driving and executing 8x8's enterprise market. As an integral part of our enterprise business, you will be tasked with understanding the communications needs of large-scale customers and designing solutions to meet their unique business needs. 8x8 is the trusted provider of secure and reliable cloud-based unified communications and contact center solutions to more than 50,000 businesses operating in over 150 countries across six continents.You will be responsible for working through prospecting, proposal, contract, installation, and on-going service. The Account Executive will need to meet or exceed all assigned sales objectives, complete regular sales forecasting with accuracy and attend ongoing sales & certification training.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include prospecting new business and partnering with the sales development representative (SDR) to build out qualified leads;
You will develop a strong understanding of key differentiator, internal / external systems, sales methodologies and processes;
Close deals - involved with all aspects of deals including price and term negotiations management of the entire sales cycle (drive revenue within a specific region);
Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to new and existing accounts with an emphasis on new logo;
Have thorough knowledge of 8x8's products/services;
Identifies customer needs and determines optimal company products & services to effectively address customer's needs;
Develops account specific plans to optimize sales through successful execution of account strategy;
Identifies and resolves customer issues/problems by providing appropriate resources and/or materials to address problem/issue;
Updates customer information in company systems;
Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned revenue targets.
Qualifications
3+ years successful sales experience selling SaaS/UCaaS/CCaaS/VoiP products to customers over 500 employees
Closes complex deals involving multiple products;
Ability to discuss and address the customer’s needs w/o support;
Has deep knowledge level of strategic products (e.g., Contact Center);
Demonstrated ability to effectively address customers needs with 8x8 products & services;
Works on problems by applying consultative analysis of the customer situation;
Consistent forecasting accuracy and effective pipeline management;
Demonstrated ability to sell direct and jointly with key sales partners (Channel, VAR, Resellers);
Requires little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$152,250.00 - $253,750.00
