We are seeking applicants for the position of Academic Support Programs Coordinator in our Qatar Campus.
Responsibilities
• Support the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program by training SI leaders and scheduling and conducting observations of SI sessions.
• Assist in the management of the student employment program.
• Assist in supervising student course assistants with respect to coordinating schedules and conducting office hour observations.
• Assist with providing testing accommodation and conducting proctoring duties.
• Engage with students and serve as a primary contact to increase awareness and utilization of student support services.
• Conduct outreach to encourage student participation and gather feedback.
• Monitor data collection on student visits and course assistant office hour utilization.
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or student affairs.
Experience:
• At least 1- 2 years of experienc e in academic support operations in a higher education setting.
• Proficiency with data collection and documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Forms) for tracking resource usage and maintenance needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage and assist students, faculty, and staff effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and address issues promptly and proactively.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to maintain a smooth-functioning learning environment.
