SUMMARY

The Above-the-neck (ATN) product team has grown significantly across three (3) categories – eyewear, head, and hearing protection.  This growth has created a need for an additional resource to support the day-to-day product management and product customization activities across these categories.

To this end, we are seeking a highly energetic, well-organized professional to support our product managers and customization business.  This position will report directly to the Above-the-neck Product Management Manager and offers ample opportunity for growth not only in our product team functions, but within the organization.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Customization

  • Resource for all helmet customization inquiries
  • Ensure customized orders are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with team members on expected deliveries and order changes
  • Create sales quotations for customized orders
  • Work in conjunction with multiple departments including sales, operations, and production to fulfill quality customized product orders
  • Effectively collects, prepares, and validates customer artwork relative to required specs – makes recommendations and/or alters artwork to meet required specifications
  • Creating part numbers in SAP
  • Yearly price adjustments in SAP
  • Develops and delivers documentation to supplier for production
  • Seeks opportunities to refine and improve processes

Product Management

  • Provide as needed administrative support to the Product Managers
  • Perform basic product management activities including, but not limited to, product specification management, product standard and certification documentation, new product set up, competitive product research, and general product documentation control
  • Works in conjunction with multiple departments including sales, marketing, operations, and quality assurance within the defined product categories to execute category objectives.
  • Basic knowledge of subject matter across each product category.
  • Basic knowledge of product standard requirements in each product category.
  • Provides support in education and training on HexArmor’s ATN product categories.
  • Provides support with research – product, market, competitors, price positioning, etc.
  • Maintain product development warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to provide high level of customer service both to internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Efficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite are a plus
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • 0-10% travel to domestic customers and international partner factories
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a part of a high-performance team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Product customization experience preferred, but not required
