JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Intervention Program is a parent implemented professionally supported program for young children ages 2 to 6 years old and their families who are experiencing challenging behaviors. The program is available to families from 9 to 11 a.m., 3 to 5 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m. CST, with a preference for availability from bachelor level applicant during the 4 to 6 pm program time.

  • All other duties as assigned to fulfill learning plan requirements

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 20 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Working hours are between 8 am and 6 p.m. CST, with a preference for availability from bachelor level applicant during the 4 to 6 p.m. program time.
  • Internship fully on-site in Columbia, TN (Maury County)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, early childhood, social sciences, or related field
  • Interest in gaining positive behavior management experience in supporting parents of young children
  • Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with observation data; detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

This is an unpaid internship.
