Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking 777X Project Management Specialist – (Mid or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) to join the Program Team located in Berkeley, MO.

In this role they will lead a cross functional and geographically dispersed team to the completion of critical projects within the 777x program. This position is focused on program rate readiness and rate enabling projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years’ experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • 3+ years’ experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience with commercial aircraft and/or military commercial derivative aircraft
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Understanding and application of Risk, Issue, and Opportunity management
  • Experience working with supply chain, logistics, or engineering
  • Experience working on a development program

Relocation:

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range Level 3 - Min: $87,550-118,450

Summary pay range Level 4 -Min: $107,950-146,050
