Serves as an analyst and accounting liaison for the technical asset teams, accounting teams, and partners. Assists in the preparation and distribution of monthly and annual field cost reporting. Assists in the preparation, coordination, and hosting of annual partner General & Administrative (G&A) cost audit.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as analyst and accounting liaison between technical asset teams and external partner companies. Requires deep understanding of the governing partnership agreements, joint operating agreements and related supplemental agreements.
- Compile and distribute budget and forecast information, financial results, AFE and other project level results to technical asset teams and partners.
- Assists technical asset teams and other stakeholders with special reports and projects related to partner requests.
- Advise technical asset teams on the appropriate treatment of project costs and other unit expenses per relevant operating agreements.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and hosting of partner G&A cost audits
- Prepare audit claim responses and ensure necessary adjustments are completed; proactively work with affected teams to reduce future audit findings and streamline process.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience
- Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, outside partners and other departments.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
- Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred: Strong working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft PowerBI
Educational Requirements: Bachelors of Business Administration, Bachelors of Accounting or equivalent experience.
