2025 Summer IT Operations Intern

Eversource Energy is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking college student for a paid IT internship. This role offers hands-on experience working with Business Systems Analysts, Solution Architects, and development teams on various projects. The intern will assist with documenting functional designs, gathering business requirements, and participating in agile project activities.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking, problem-solving college student with an opportunity for a paid internship position on the IT team. You will work with our team of experienced BSAs, Solution Architects and development teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Students with graduation date of May 2026
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in related IT field
• Cumulative GPA above a 3.0
• Passion and aptitude for learning technology and solving problems.
• Knowledge of cloud computing preferably Azure
• Knowledge of web applications architectures
• Good problem-solving skills, enthusiastic work approach, and self-motivated
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding the mobile applications for customers or corporate internal use
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Understand Eversource Work Order Life Cycle Processes and systems involved for Electric and Gas business lines
• Assist the team with various operational, and ongoing project activities.
• Document functional designs for WOLC project
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Participate in project daily stand-ups and provide the statuses to the work asisgned
• Candidate will become familiar with Eversource Work Order Life Cycle Management, agile methodology, large systems like Maximo, MWM & Power Plan
