The PROS Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship designed to provide challenging, hands-on work experience. You will be assigned both individual and team projects that will make a direct impact on the company. This will further develop your ability to problem solve and communicate. Additionally, interns will be provided with ample learning opportunities, the ability to interact with business leaders, and engage in intern-related events. You will receive a mentor that provides frequent feedback on projects while helping you to build technical, analytical and leadership skills.

A Day in the Life of the IT Desktop Support Intern -About the role:
- This role is an in-office position
- Provide first-class customer service help desk support with Microsoft Windows 11 and/or Apple Mac OSX.
- Coordinate and/or perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring printers, systems and applications.
- Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been resolved.
- Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
- May track and analyze trends in Help Desk requests and generate statistical reports as requested.
- Assess the needs for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) based on request trends and make recommendations.
Required Qualifications – About you:
- Currently pursuing an academic education at an institution of higher learning
- Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology as needed
- Experience in a team-based environment and ability to understand and address the needs of end-users
- Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on assigned projects.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
- Application support experience with knowledge of programming languages.
- Knowledge of Windows 11 and Apple Mac Operating Systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively assist and support end-users.
