Overview
Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a summer intern for the position of User Experience (UX) Writer. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a focus on clear communication. As a UX Writer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with an innovative team and gain valuable experience in the field of user experience design. Join us in making the world safe for exchanging digital information.
Responsibilities
- Create and improve product text across various user interfaces
- Learn to write clear, engaging copy for websites, apps, social media, and user interfaces
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams on various projects
- Participate in content strategy discussions and team meetings
- Get exposure to user research and content effectiveness analysis
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Communications, English, Journalism, Information Design, or a related field
- Strong English writing and editing skills (native or native-like proficiency)
- Natural ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
- Enthusiasm for technology and user experience
- Team player with good communication skills
- Available to work full-time at our Taipei office during summer 2025
Bonus Points
- Interest in cybersecurity
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Canva)
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT
- Previous writing samples or portfolio
