Fenwick is seeking 1L students to join our 2025 Summer Program in our offices in New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Washington D.C.. Job Description:

In addition to our regular summer associate salary, there also will be an opportunity to receive up to $50,000 (gross) in scholarship funds that we offer to 1L students who belong to historically underrepresented groups in the legal profession or who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion. Our Scholars will spend a minimum of 8 weeks of the summer following their 1L year working as a Fenwick summer associate. At the end of the summer, each Scholar will be eligible to receive an offer to return the following summer as one of our 2L summer associates (and the opportunity to join us after graduation from law school), contingent upon satisfactory law school grades, work evaluations, and performance feedback.

Applicants must also submit a personal statement of no more than 300 words that articulates the ways in which your background, life experiences, values, character and worldview influence your decision to apply for a position at Fenwick. Applicants will be evaluated holistically on the merits of their application materials and interviews. We will consider applications that are received between November 15, 2024, and January 10, 2025. Applications may be submitted during that period without a current law school transcript but will not be considered complete until that transcript is received.
