Services:
APIC Consulting provides onsite assessments designed to identify and help staff mitigate infection risks. Our assessments include a detailed written report of findings and recommendations which serve as a road map to guide the facility into compliance. APIC Consulting has conducted ICAR assessments in many states, on behalf of their state health departments. Our consultants perform onsite and tele-ICAR assessments, review infection control policies and procedures, and deliver IPC training to multiple shifts throughout healthcare facilities. APIC Consultants are state-approved to work with facilities on mandated IPC plans of correction, including Directed Plan of Correction, F-Tags, Root Cause Analysis, and Immediate Jeopardy citations. APIC Consulting specializes in providing the tools for facilities to carry forward comprehensive, sustainable programs. Customized IPC training tailored to your facility needs and relevant topics, e.g., high level disinfection & sterilization, vaccine hesitancy, etc. Training is developed and taught by CIC® certified instructors with 10+ years’ IPC experience. To support a recently promoted or appointed infection preventionist APIC Consulting works in tandem with the new IP and internal staff to ensure that policies and procedures follow appropriate guidelines and best practices of accreditation and regulatory standards throughout the transition.
