As the Director of Engineering for Patient-side products at Headway, you will lead the growth of user-facing products aimed at enhancing patient experiences. This includes collaborating with Product and Business leaders to build software solutions that improve access to mental healthcare for over 1 million unique patients while ensuring seamless integrations for insurance customers and a positive experience for providers.

Headway is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help create access to affordable, quality mental healthcare across the United States. This role involves collaborating on data infrastructure design, partnering with product/engineering for best practices, creating data pipelines for business insights, and building real-time data pipelines in coordination with the Data Science team.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Headway, you will contribute to building a national mental health care system by developing technology that improves financial processing, claims management, and internal tooling for healthcare providers. You will work closely with a small engineering team focused on iterative development and optimizing user experiences.
